There’s always a story to a name and Nelson Wear is no exception. Nelson Wear was launched in 2008 by our original founder, Monique “Mo” Nelson. Her last name was not something she was born into. It’s a name she took on to honor her foster Dad, Dale Nelson, while she was enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Dale was a grain farmer from Wisconsin who always gave back to his family, friends and community. Mo was very influenced by him and created our company with the same values.

Made in America means everything to us. It stands for quality, integrity and being connected to our customers, team and local community. We are dedicated to keeping our business & manufacturing operations in California. We stand behind the fact that our company manufactures products in the U.S., provides top quality, is profitable and has continued to grow.

The problem we initially solved for our customers was designing a quick, effective and comfortable way to protect tattoos from the sun and stay in compliance with their employer’s tattoo policy. The Tat2X Ink Armor Tattoo Cover Up Sleeve was born. In the beginning we only offered the Full and Half Arm sleeve styles. We quickly realized that “One Size Does Not Fit All” and have since added 9 more styles (for the arm and leg), in up to 5 different sizes and over 20 different colors and patterns.

Our customers found many other uses for our sleeves. One great feature is the sun protection they provide. The sleeves block 98% of harmful UV sun rays (40-50+ UVB). This level of protection is great for anyone spending a lot of time in the sun. Other benefits our sleeves offer: wick away moisture fabric blend, “no slip” elastic grip at the top of each sleeve, can get wet (including chlorine), flat lock no chafing seams, discreet tagless design with no logos on the outside.

Our iM Sports Compression Sleeves are the premium brand for athletes everywhere. Compression sleeves improve blood flow/circulation to your muscles while you are working out. Compression Sleeves have also been known to reduce swelling, aid in the prevention of cramping and help athletes recover more quickly from a tough workout or recent injury. iM Sports sleeves have the same great features and quality as our Tat2X Ink Armor sleeves.
